Job Description:
Full job descriptionProduction Team Leader
Lincoln | £38,000 - £40,000 | Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 5:30pm | 38 hours per week

The best production leaders don’t just deliver output. They create environments where people perform at their best, standards are consistently maintained, and continuous improvement becomes part of everyday operations.

This opportunity offers the chance to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated, process-driven environment where safety, quality and compliance are fundamental to everything they do. Following an internal move, the business is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to help drive operational performance whilst supporting the ongoing development of both people and processes.

Leading a team of over 20 operatives, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You’ll manage resources, monitor performance, coach and develop employees, analyse operational data and work collaboratively with colleagues across production, quality, planning and engineering to deliver business objectives.

This is a highly visible leadership role that requires a strong presence on the shop floor. Whilst production delivery is important, the successful individual will be equally focused on reinforcing procedures, promoting best practice, supporting training initiatives and ensuring standards are followed consistently. You’ll be comfortable balancing people management, operational decision-making and performance reporting whilst driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience leading teams within manufacturing or production environments. Backgrounds from sectors such as aerospace, engineering, defence, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing or other highly regulated industries would be particularly relevant. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with the ability to analyse KPIs, produce reports and use data to support decision-making.

In return, you’ll be joining a business with a strong order book, a supportive leadership team and genuine opportunities to influence positive change. The culture is fast-paced, collaborative and built around people who take ownership, embrace challenges and continually look for ways to improve.
