MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Stores Supervisor to strengthen their current team. The Job You’ll Do:
*Responsible for managing a team of between 2 - 5 stores staff
*Implement overall organisation and structure to the stores department, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the business
*Controlling and allocating parts numbers
*Increase stock accuracy
*Assisting the dispatch team when needed
*Liaising with production and engineering teams to understand their needs and help the company operate more efficiently
*Identify areas for improvement or cost saving
About You:
*Experience working as a Senior Operator or preferably a management position within a stores department
*A background within engineering/manufacturing
*A good level of PC/IT skills (Microsoft Office)
*Experience using ERP systems (Navision is highly desirable)
*Well organised, methodical and a logical thinker
*Able to manage a small team effectively without constant support
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills
