The Assistant Ecologist will join a supportive team working on a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, with excellent opportunities for training and long-term career progression. The Assistant Ecologist will assist with habitat and protected species surveys, ecological appraisals, report writing, data collection and supporting senior ecologists on projects from inception through to completion. The Assistant Ecologist will also gain experience across a diverse range of sectors while developing technical and professional skills. Requirements:
*Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
*Previous ecological survey or consultancy experience is desirable
*Good knowledge of UK habitats and protected species
*Full UK driving licence
*Full right to work in the UK
*Must live in or within a reasonable commute of the Milton Keynes office
*Strong communication and report writing skills
*Motivated, organised and eager to develop a career in ecology
