We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Plymouth this September. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

*Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning needs

*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

*Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

*Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

*Liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

Requirements
*Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

*Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable

*Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
