Full job descriptionSharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a growing research organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative business where you’ll work closely with operational leaders, providing financial insight to support projects, funding, and strategic decision-making.


The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, responsibilities include:
*Partnering with budget holders and project managers to provide financial support and challenge.
*Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
*Producing variance analysis and performance commentary.
*Supporting project costing, grant and research funding reporting.
*Providing commercial insight to aid business decisions.
*Assisting with month-end reporting and continuous process improvements.


About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
*Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant role.
*Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified, AAT qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
*Experience within research, higher education, life sciences or other project-led environments would be advantageous, but not essential.
