Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a Good Ofsted-rated Specialist School in Ringwood.


The school supports pupils aged 5-25 years with a range of complex needs, including:
*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Communication and Interaction Difficulties
*Severe and Complex Learning Disabilities
*Speech, Language and Communication Needs
*Behaviours That Challenge

Role Details
*Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
*Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
*Start Date: ASAP
*Contract: Temporary or Permanent
*Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
*Pay Rate: From £104 per day
Key Responsibilities
*Support pupils with autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.
*Build positive relationships that promote confidence, wellbeing, and engagement.
*Assist pupils with emotional regulation, social interaction, and communication skills.
*Deliver creative, practical, and differentiated learning activities.
*Use calm, consistent, and trauma-informed approaches to support behaviour and learning.
*Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to provide holistic support.
*Support personal care needs where required.
Experience & Qualifications
*Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly within SEN settings.
*A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
*Positive, patient, resilient, and proactive approach.
*Willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities when required.


Eligibility Requirements
*Right to Work in the UK.
*Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
*Two professional, child-related references.
