Digital Learning Design Specialist
6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Malmesbury | Onsite
Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Learning Design Specialist to support the development of engaging and effective online learning experiences within a specialist higher education environment.
Working closely with academics, project managers and subject matter experts, you will design and develop high-quality digital learning content, ensuring programmes are aligned to learning outcomes and delivered through best-practice instructional design principles.
Key Responsibilities*Design and develop engaging online learning content and learning journeys.
*Create storyboards, interactive modules and digital learning resources.
*Collaborate with academics and stakeholders to translate technical subject matter into effective learning experiences.
*Support the enhancement and development of virtual learning environments.
*Ensure content meets educational standards, learning objectives and accessibility requirements.
*Contribute to digital learning projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience*Experience in Digital Learning Design, Instructional Design or Learning Technology roles.
*Strong experience with Canvas (or similar VLE/LMS platforms).
*Experience creating interactive content using Articulate 360.
*Proven track record working with academic stakeholders and subject matter experts.
*Storyboarding and online content development expertise.
*Experience delivering digital learning projects in a higher education or learning-focused environment.
Desirable*STEM, Engineering or Technical Education experience.
*Understanding of blended and online learning pedagogies.
*Experience supporting learning technology platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
