Description
*Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis to stakeholders.
*Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
*Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
*Collaborate with internal teams to optimise cost control and operational efficiencies.
*Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the retail sector.
*Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies in all financial activities.
*Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
*Proven experience in a management accountant role within a fast paced environment.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
*Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
*Effective communication skills to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
*Annual bonus up to 10%
*Hybrid working from a Lancashire office (3 days in office, 2 at home)
