Job Description:
Full job descriptionSpencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in Nuneaton.
In this role, you will help prevent homelessness by providing expert housing advice, managing statutory homelessness casework, and working with customers and partners to secure sustainable housing solutions.
Duties:
*Prevent homelessness by assessing housing needs and delivering tailored housing solutions.
*Manage homelessness casework in line with relevant housing legislation and statutory duties.
*Work with landlords, partner agencies and support services to secure suitable accommodation.
*Provide excellent customer service while maintaining accurate case records and managing a varied caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Experience working in housing, homelessness or a related public sector environment.
*Experience managing complex casework and supporting vulnerable customers.
*Experience working in partnership with landlords, agencies and other organisations.
*Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
What’s on offer:
Salary: £25ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type:3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
