Location: Birmingham
Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts
Salary £40-45k (depending on experience)
Elevation Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business in Birmingham to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities*Being proactive within the job focussing on reactive and preventative maintenance on a daily basis
*Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
*Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine the best course of action
*Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
*Collaborate with other maintenance team members
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
*A recognised mechancial apprenticeship and relevant qualifications.
*Previous experience carrying out preventative maintenance activities.
*Previous experience within a medium to heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
*Experienced in hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
