Robert Walters is partnering with a well-established UK manufacturing business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where you’ll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Monday-Friday | 7:00am-4:00pm
Robert Walters is partnering with a well-established UK manufacturing business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where you’ll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdown support, and equipment improvement projects across a busy manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
*Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
*Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
*Working on motors, drives, control panels, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps and gearboxes
*Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
*Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures including LOTO
*Recording maintenance activities through the CMMS system
*Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
*Supporting contractors and contributing to continuous improvement projects
About You*Time-served apprentice or NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualified in Engineering
*Proven experience within manufacturing, production or industrial environments
*Strong electrical fault-finding skills, including 3-phase systems and control circuits
*Good mechanical maintenance and diagnostic capability
*Able to read electrical drawings and technical schematics
*18th Edition qualification desirable
*Flexible approach to overtime and occasional out-of-hours support
