Job Description:
Full job descriptionResidential Conveyancing Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive | Devon | Full Time | Permanent | £45,000–£60,000 DOE | Hybrid Working

A well-established and highly respected Devon law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) to join its friendly and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer looking to move away from a high-volume, target-driven environment and focus on delivering a truly personal and high-quality service to clients. The firm has a longstanding reputation within the local community, built on trusted relationships, exceptional client care, and quality legal advice.

The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, handling matters including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Easements
• Unregistered land
• Other complex residential property matters

With strong administrative support and experienced colleagues around you, you’ll have the resources and flexibility to focus on providing excellent client service rather than meeting unrealistic volume targets.

About You
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• Experienced in managing residential conveyancing matters independently
• Organised, detail-oriented, and client-focused
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative team player with a personable approach

What’s on Offer
• Salary of £45,000–£60,000 DOE
• Hybrid working arrangements
• Generous annual leave allowance, increasing with service
• Pension scheme
• Free on-site parking
• Supportive and collaborative working environment
• Quality caseload with a strong emphasis on client care over volume

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected Devon firm where your expertise will be valued, your development supported, and your work-life balance genuinely respected.
