*Job Type: Full-time (45 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday, 5pm - 2am)
Join a leading supplier of bakery products and ingredients servicing customers throughout the United Kingdom. We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team at our depot. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks from unloading/loading vehicles to maintaining stock accuracy and cleanliness.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Carry out duties as instructed by the shift supervisor, including picking and collating stock across Ambient, Freezer, and Chiller departments.
*Manage goods inwards by checking and booking in stock correctly.
*Ensure vehicle temperatures are checked before loading/unloading.
*Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and competently.
*Perform hygiene and maintenance duties as required across the site.
*Support the effective and efficient running of the Warehouse and related areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous warehouse experience.
*Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments (Freezer, Chilled, Ambient).
*Flexibility in handling various tasks.
*Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the role.
*Desirable qualifications include:
*Health & Safety training.
*Experience with Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).
*Computer literacy (Word/Excel).
