Full job descriptionAre you a qualified accountant looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience within a global business? We’re recruiting on behalf of an internationally recognised organisation seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their UK finance team on a 9-month contract.

As Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities while acting as a trusted business partner across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Leading and supporting product pricing and costing activities
*Providing commercial analysis and pricing insights to support the sales team
*Reviewing and approving pricing quotations to ensure accuracy, compliance and profitability
*Supporting the month-end close process, including journal preparation and general ledger activities
*Managing accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and key balance sheet reconciliations
*Partnering closely with Operations to provide financial insight and support business decisions
*Assisting with year-end audits and ensuring audit information is delivered accurately and on time
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to make a positive impact.
You’ll ideally have:
*ACCA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification
*Previous experience in a Senior Accountant or similar financial accounting position
*Costing and pricing experience
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
*Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous
*Outstanding communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders across the business
