Join our dedicated Community Care team as a Paediatric Nurse in Manchester, providing critical overnight care to a child on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). This role is ideal for someone passionate about paediatric healthcare and eager to make a significant impact in a child’s life.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide specialised nursing care to a child on TPN during assigned night shifts.
*Monitor the child’s condition throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs or emergencies.
*Administer medications and TPN as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
*Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
*Communicate effectively with family members, ensuring they are informed and reassured about the child’s care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
*Minimum of 6 months experience in paediatric nursing.
*Excellent clinical skills with a deep understanding of paediatric care protocols.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of providing compassionate care.
*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
