Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis to oversee the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects across the London area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing site operations safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
*Plan, coordinate, and manage all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within programme.
*Oversee daily site operations, including subcontractor management, logistics, and resource allocation.
*Maintain high standards of workmanship through effective quality assurance and technical control.
*Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and site procedures.
*Conduct regular site inspections and proactively address quality, safety, and programme issues.
*Lead and motivate site teams, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
*Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project delivery.
*Prepare and maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and documentation.
*Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Managing Director.
*Identify risks and implement practical solutions to maintain programme and project objectives.
Essential Requirements
*Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction sector.
*Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical standards, and quality management.
*Excellent understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
*SMSTS certification.
*CSCS Manager Card.
*First Aid at Work qualification.
*Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
*Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
*Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable
*Experience delivering modular, fit-out, or commercial construction projects.
