Rapier Employment is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a leading home delivery operation based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and customer-focused team offering ongoing work, weekly pay, and full training and support.

Pay Rates
*£18.38 per hour
*£27.56 per hour after 48 hours worked
*Weekly PAYE pay
*Holiday pay accrued separately

The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll work alongside a dedicated Driver’s Mate, delivering products directly to customers’ homes. You’ll be the face of the business, providing a professional, friendly, and reliable service while ensuring every delivery is completed safely and efficiently.
This is a physically demanding role involving manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being active and working as part of a team.

Your Responsibilities
*Completing multi-drop home deliveries
*Delivering exceptional customer service at every stop
*Working closely with your Driver’s Mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
*Making customer pre-delivery calls where required
*Completing Proof of Delivery (POD) accurately
*Safely unloading goods into customers’ homes
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring legal compliance
*Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule

Shift Information
*Flexible shift patterns available
*Weekend working may be required
*This is not a standard Monday to Friday role, so flexibility is essential
*Ongoing, full-time work with regular shifts

What We’re Looking For
*Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
*Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
*Digital Tachograph Card
*No DR, CD or IN endorsements
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Reliable, punctual, and well organised
*Ability to successfully complete theory and practical driving assessments
*Previous multi-drop or home delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
