*Working Hours: 5 days a week
We are currently seeking an experienced Caretaker to join a school in Leatherhead for an 8-week temporary booking starting in August. This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience in a caretaker or similar role, who can manage the maintenance and security of school premises.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct regular security checks throughout the school premises.
*Perform maintenance tasks including minor repairs and coordinating with contractors for more significant repairs.
*Ensure that the school environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
*Assist with the setup of classrooms and assembly areas for various school activities.
*Manage the opening and closing of the school premises daily.
*Respond to emergency situations or issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Caretaker or in a similar role.
*Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance tasks.
*Good physical condition and strength.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong organizational and communication skills.
*A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
