About the Role*As a Popular Music Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
*Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Popular Music programmes,
*Plan and prepare learning activities that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements,
*Support learners in developing performance, composition, production, and music industry knowledge,
*Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
*Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience and curriculum delivery.
What We’re Looking For*Experience within the music industry, music education, or a related creative sector,
*Knowledge of performance, composition, music technology, and contemporary music practices,
*Strong communication and organisational skills,
*A passion for supporting and developing learners,
*A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
*A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
