Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary (3 months initially, with the potential to be extended depending on workload)
HR GO Recruitment are currently looking for a Fabrication Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Gravesend on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic sheet metal fabrication experience who is hands-on, willing to learn and looking to develop new skills. Full training will be provided in laser welding, which will make up the majority of the role.
Main Duties*Basic sheet metal fabrication.
*Operating a press brake (operation only - no setting required).
*Riveting components.
*Laser welding (full training provided).
*Grinding and sanding finished products.
*Using general hand tools, including drills, files and other workshop equipment.
*Following engineering drawings and quality standards.
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
*Basic sheet metal fabrication experience.
*Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment.
*A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
*Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
*Reliable with a strong work ethic.
What’s on Offer?*£16.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
*Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends.
*Full training provided in laser welding.

*Initial 3-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension depending on business workload.
