This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and making a genuine difference every day.
The Role*SEN Teaching Assistant
*Full-time | Monday-Friday
*Long-term position
*September 2026 start
*Wandsworth
*Competitive daily rate
Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
*Support learning inside and outside the classroom.
*Implement strategies from EHCPs where appropriate.
*Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
*Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
*Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
*Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
*Experience supporting needs such as Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language or other additional needs is desirable.
*Calm, patient and resilient approach.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Passionate about helping every child succeed.
