We’re looking for a talented and creative Marketing & Communications Executive to support the delivery of engaging fundraising and marketing campaigns that inspire supporters and drive vital income for persecuted and suffering Christians worldwide.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing and a range of internal stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality content across print and digital channels, managing projects from concept to delivery, and helping to strengthen our brand and supporter engagement.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position for a strong communicator with excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling. You’ll be involved in the creation of direct mail appeals, fundraising publications, email campaigns, social media content, video projects and podcast promotion, ensuring all communications are engaging, accurate and aligned with ACN’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
*Create, edit and proof compelling content for direct mail, email, web, social media, video and podcast campaigns.
*Take editorial responsibility for ACN’s supporter magazine, coordinating content, research and production.
*Support the planning and delivery of integrated fundraising and marketing campaigns.
*Assist with the creation and production of fundraising appeals, supporter communications and promotional materials.
*Help manage the welcome journey for new donors and support donor engagement initiatives.
*Work closely with external agencies, designers, printers and video editors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
*Support the promotion and development of the Break the Silence podcast and other digital content.
*Research and write articles for Catholic publications and other relevant audiences.
*Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
*Support video production projects and assist with content planning and scheduling.
*Deputise for the Head of Marketing when required.
About You
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and creative marketing professional who can manage multiple projects and produce high-quality content.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related subject.
*Proven experience in a marketing, communications or fundraising role.
*Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
*Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
*Experience working with designers, agencies and external suppliers.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
*Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams.
*Experience working with CRM systems such as Raiser’s Edge or similar.
Desirable:
*Experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
*Video editing skills, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
*Understanding of direct marketing and supporter engagement.
*Knowledge of, or affinity with, the Catholic Church and its mission.
