Support young learners and make a meaningful difference in a welcoming primary school environment.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Bromborough. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become longer-term for the right candidate, offering an excellent chance to gain valuable experience while supporting pupils across the school.
About the Role
*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
*Work with small groups and individual pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
*Assist in creating a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
*Encourage pupil confidence, independence and participation in learning.
*Support classroom routines, behaviour management and learning resources.
*Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
What We’re Looking For
*Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
*Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
*Safeguarding awareness with a good understanding of child protection responsibilities.
*A patient, positive and adaptable approach to supporting children.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
