Learning Support Assistant - Redbridge, East London
Prospero Teaching is recruiting Learning Support Assistants for a successful and inclusive all-through school in Redbridge, East London. Opportunities are available across both the Primary and Secondary phases, supporting pupils with a range of learning, SEN, and behavioural needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or experienced support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a large, high-performing school with a strong focus on academic achievement, student wellbeing, and staff development.
Role Details*Location: Redbridge, East London
*Position: Learning Support Assistant
*Start Date: September 2026
*Contract: Full-time, Long term
*Hours: Full-time, 8:00am - 4:00pm
The Role*Provide 1:1 and small-group support across Primary and Secondary year groups
*Support pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
*Work closely with teaching and inclusion staff to support student progress
*Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
*Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements*Bachelor’s degree preferred
*Experience working with children or young people desirable
*Previous LSA, TA, mentoring, youth work, or support work experience advantageous
*Passion for education and supporting young people
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
