Learning Support Assistant - Newham, East London
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a graduate Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in Newham, East London. This full-time role is ideal for graduates seeking experience in education, psychology, counselling, or youth work.
Role Details*Location: Newham, East London
*Position: Learning Support Assistant
*Start: September 2026
*Contract: Ongoing until the end of the academic year
*Hours: Full-time, 8:00am - 4:00pm
The Role*Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN and behavioural needs
*Support students with ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia
*Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to improve engagement and progress
*Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
Requirements*Bachelor’s degree essential
*Experience supporting children or young people (preferred)
*Passion for education and helping students succeed
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Reliable and committed approach
