Duration: 6 months in Doncaster while training then moving to Barton Under Needwood
Pay Rate: £16.42 PAYE per hour (flexible depending on experience) (Paid for travel time and milage)
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver to support a project in an engineering environment. This role involves assisting with a product programme.
This is a hands-on position combining forklift driving with basic mechanical/labouring duties, ideal for someone who is reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a workshop setting.
Key Responsibilities*Operating a Reach Truck FLT to move equipment around site
*Positioning lifting equipment onto a designated work rig
*Assisting with basic rework tasks, including:
*Moving completed units to storage or dispatch areas
*Working as part of a team to complete a high-volume project (approx. 600 units)
Requirements*Valid Reach Truck FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
*Previous experience in a warehouse, engineering, or manufacturing environment
*Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
*Comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
*Reliable and able to work as part of a team
Working Hours*Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4pm
*Friday: 8:30am - 1:00pm
