The organisation is a Large sized Contract logistics provider. It focuses on providing innovative solutions to ensure efficient logistics and supply chain management.
Description
*Manage and deliver logistics projects within set timeframes and budgets.
*Coordinate project teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
*Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
*Develop and implement strategies to optimise transport & distribution operations.
*Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
*Prepare detailed project documentation and reports.
*Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
*Support the handover of completed projects to operational teams.
Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager (6-month FTC) should have:
*Proven experience in project management within the logistics or transport & distribution sectors.
*Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
*Project management accreditations (PMQ. Prince2 or similar) - preferred
*Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
*A solid understanding of logistics processes and industry standards.
*Problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000.
