Are you an experienced Commercial Building Surveyor looking for your next career move with a respected and growing organisation?
We’re delighted to be working with a highly reputable company based in Oxfordshire, seeking a Commercial Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projects across the UK, predominantly across the South of England and Greater London.
The Role
As a Commercial Building Surveyor, you will:
*Deliver commercial building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects
*Provide expert advice on property, construction, and building-related matters
*Complete detailed building surveys, reports, and technical assessments
*Carry out defect diagnosis and analysis, providing recommendations and solutions
*Advise clients on building condition, maintenance, and health and safety considerations
*Liaise with clients, contractors, construction companies, and other relevant stakeholders
*Manage project documentation and ensure accurate reporting
*Work independently while maintaining high standards of technical delivery
*Support clients with professional advice throughout the surveying process
Commercial Building Surveyor Requirements:
*Minimum AssocRICS qualification preferred (applications welcomed from highly experienced Building Surveyors)
*Degree in Building Surveying or an equivalent qualification
*Previous commercial property experience essential
*Experience in dilapidations, project management, defect diagnosis, and analysis
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
*Strong communication and client-facing skills
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
*Analytical approach with strong IT skills
*Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across project locations
Working Hours
*Full-time position
*Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
*Hybrid working (office attendance varies)
*Overnight stays may be required, with expenses covered
