The duties of the Vehicle Technician position involve:
*Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Jaguar, Land Rover, and BMW vehicles to manufacturer standards
*Identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
*Sharing expertise to mentor fellow technicians and support team development
*Maintaining workshop safety, quality, and safety standards at all times
*Accurately recording all work completed and maintaining detailed documentation
*Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers, ensuring transparency
*Supporting dealer-level training and staying current with hybrid and electric vehicle advancements
The ideal Vehicle Technician will be:
*Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
*Proven experience in a main dealer environment, particularly with Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, or similar premium brands
*Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with the latest diagnostic tools and software
*Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
*Capable of working independently and within a team
*Holds a full UK driving licence
*Own tooling required (excluding specialist tools)
*Committed to long-term employment and professional development
