Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PDI Technician to work within a busy fleet department, ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery.

Duties of a PDI Technician:
*Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
*Performing collection inspections prior to customer handover
*Conducting minor servicing and mechanical repairs as required
*Fitting accessories to vehicles when necessary as a PDI Technician
*Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and company standards
*Identifying and reporting any additional repair or safety issues
*Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements of a PDI Technician:
*Previous workshop experience
*Ability to conduct PDIs accurately and efficiently
*Good understanding of vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
*Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
*Positive attitude and effective team working skills
*Full UK manual driving licence
*Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential
