SEN TeacherProspero Teaching is working with an independent school in the Salisbury area to recruit a passionate and committed SEN Teacher (QTS) for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-resourced setting that provides tailored education for pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and structured learning environment where pupils are supported to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. The Role:*Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
*Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
*Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider support teams
*Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
*Promote engagement, confidence, and independence
*Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently
Ideal Candidate:*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
*Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
*Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
*Able to differentiate learning effectively
*Committed to delivering high-quality teaching and support
*Experience within SEN beneficial but not essential
*Suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs
Contract Details:*Position: SEN Teacher (QTS)

*Start Date: September
*Working Pattern: Full-time
*Contract Type: Permanent
*Pay Rate: £32,916 - £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
*Key Stages: Primary / Secondary
*Setting: Independent School
Experience, Training & Safeguarding:*QTS required
*SEN experience beneficial but not essential
*ECTs welcome to apply
*Safeguarding training can be provided
