Our client, a distinguished leader in the technology sector servicing Defence & Security industries, is currently seeking a Head of IT to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:*Develop and implement the organisation’s ICT strategy aligned with business objectives
*Lead digital transformation and technology improvement programmes
*Advise senior leadership on emerging technologies, risks, and opportunities
*Ensure ICT policies, standards, and governance frameworks are effective and compliant
*Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ICT infrastructure
*Ensure high availability and performance of networks, servers, cloud platforms, telecommunications, and business systems
*Manage ICT service delivery against agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
*Lead business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience planning
Job Requirements:*Significant senior-level ICT management experience
*Experience developing and implementing ICT strategies
*Proficiency in managing infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and service delivery functions
*Experience leading teams and managing budgets
*Proven track record of delivering complex ICT projects and transformation initiatives
*Knowledge of ICT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and enterprise systems
*Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and risk management principles
*Understanding of data protection and regulatory compliance requirements
