Description
*Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
*Develop, implement, and maintain processes to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
*Oversee vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
*Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior management.
*Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and improve financial operations.
*Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
*Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Profile
A successful Head of Accounts Payable should have:
*A strong background in accounting and finance.
*Previous experience managing an accounts payable function or team within Financial Services.
*Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent attention to detail.
