Inspire, Support, and Make a DifferenceVeritas Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting a range of secondary schools across Burnley from September onwards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to help young people achieve their full potential.
Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate considering a career in education, or someone with relevant youth work or support experience, we would love to hear from you.
Role Responsibilities*Supporting students in the classroom to enhance learning and engagement.
*Working alongside teachers to deliver effective lessons.
*Providing one-to-one and small group support.
*Assisting students with additional learning needs where required.
*Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
*Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting student wellbeing.
*Supporting pupils both academically and socially throughout the school day.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have*Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A patient, proactive, and positive attitude.
*The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
*A genuine passion for supporting secondary-aged pupils.
*Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
