Full job descriptionA well-established and highly regarded law firm based in North West London is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy Conveyancing department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary with experience in residential conveyancing and some exposure to commercial property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
*Providing full secretarial support to the Partner within the Conveyancing department
*Preparing legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and carrying out typing/audio typing via digital dictation
*Handling conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion
*Preparing initial contract packs, completion statements, and supporting documentation
*Opening files and conducting AML checks and compliance procedures
*Assisting with Land Registry applications, registrations, and submission of SDLT returns
*Supporting commercial property transactions and portfolio purchases
*Assisting with post-completion matters
Key Skills:
*Previous experience as a Legal Secretary with conveyancing is essential
*Strong knowledge of both residential conveyancing procedures
*Experience with digital dictation is essential
*Strong organisational and communication abilities
