Full job descriptionAn ambitious accountancy practice are looking to appoint a commercially minded Senior Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, developing team members, and supporting Partners in driving the continued growth of the firm.

Your new role
*Manage a substantial portfolio of business and personal tax clients.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
*Lead client meetings and provide proactive business advice.
*Review accounts, tax returns, management accounts, and statutory reporting.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
*Manage, mentor, and develop Managers, Assistant Managers, and trainees.
*Conduct performance reviews and support career development plans.
*Provide technical guidance and coaching across the team.
*Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
*Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.
*Contribute to the firm’s growth strategy and revenue targets.
*Monitor workflow, budgets, recoverability, and WIP.
*Ensure assignments are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
*Support the Partners with practice management initiatives.
*Drive process improvements and efficiencies across the department.
What you’ll need to succeed
*ACA / ACCA qualified.
*Significant experience within an accountancy practice environment.
*Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients.
*Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
*Experience leading and developing teams.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Commercially aware and client-focused approach.
