Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a new opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?
Veritas Education is recruiting on behalf of welcoming and well-established nursery settings across Leeds for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join their teams on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your skills, become part of a supportive team, and progress into a permanent role.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll support children’s development through engaging activities, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to delivering high-quality Early Years education in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:*Support children’s learning and development through fun, engaging, and play-based activities
*Plan and deliver age-appropriate experiences that promote children’s progress
*Create a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment
*Observe, assess, and contribute to children’s learning journeys
*Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
*Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and wellbeing
*Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
*Work collaboratively as part of a supportive Early Years team
Requirements:*Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
*Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
*Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
*Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
*A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
