Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities*Managing a caseload of child protection matters, including care proceedings, adoption, fostering, special guardianship and pre-proceedings work.
*Advising social workers, senior managers and Children’s Services on safeguarding and child protection issues.
*Preparing legal documents and court applications.
*Representing the local authority at hearings and case conferences where required.
*Providing practical, solution-focused legal advice in line with current legislation and case law.
*Supporting the delivery of an efficient and effective legal service.
