Job Description:
Full job description Junior Payroll Administrator
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous payroll administration experience, particularly within a HR environment, who is looking to develop their career.
Working closely with both Payroll and HR teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting the payroll process by ensuring employee information is accurate, up to date, and processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing new starters and ensuring all employee records are set up accurately.
*Supporting payroll preparation by maintaining accurate payroll data.
*Responding to employee queries relating to pay, benefits, holiday entitlement, and payroll administration.
*Supporting HR and payroll compliance and maintaining accurate employee records.
*Assisting with payroll administration tasks in the lead-up to each payroll.
You’ll ideally have:
*An understanding of payroll processes and employee lifecycle administration.
*Previous payroll administration experience, preferably within HR.
*Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
Potential for hybrid working.
This role would suit someone who has supported payroll as part of an HR team rather than an experienced Payroll Advisor looking after end-to-end payrolls.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing knowledge and develop your career within a supportive business.
