Full job descriptionFindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading Manufacturing company with the recruitment of a Warehouse Manager.
Permanent position. This role will be based at the company’s King’s Lynn office.
Salary

Responsibilities
*Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and within required timescales.
*Supervise, support and train warehouse staff, ensuring adequate warehouse cover is maintained at all times.
*Coordinate the receipt, storage, picking and despatch of goods.
*Ensure all stock and finished goods are stored safely, securely and in the correct designated areas, including Production, Finished Goods, BSA Raw Materials, Customer Invoiced Stock and Quarantine.
*Ensure warehouse space is utilised effectively and maintained in an organised manner.
*Ensure external areas of the site are kept safe, tidy and well organised.
*Maintain warehouse equipment and arrange repairs or servicing when required.
Stock Control and Inventory Management
*Ensure daily production output is accurately booked into stock within the required timeframe.
*Ensure all stock is correctly labelled with the appropriate stock number and batch number.
*Organise and complete weekly, monthly and ad hoc stock checks as required by the business.
*Review and investigate stock discrepancies before submitting results to management.
*Maintain a stock accuracy target of at least 98%.
*Review consumable stock-check results and raise purchase orders to maintain agreed minimum and maximum stock levels.
*Take proactive action to prevent production delays or stoppages caused by stock shortages.
*Ensure Kanban areas are replenished to the required levels and highlight any potential stock-outs promptly.
Goods In, Picking and Despatch
*Ensure all purchase order and goods-in receipts are processed within 24 hours.
*Ensure despatch picking lists are processed accurately and within the required timescales.
*Ensure production kits are picked promptly, reporting any shortages to the Planning Office.
*Liaise with Production to ensure kits and materials are moved lineside when required.
*Work closely with Production Planners to maintain sufficient stock levels to meet customer requirements.
