As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing and raising sales invoices, credit notes and cancellations across UK and German entities
*Allocating cash receipts and resolving unidentified or short payments
*Processing daily bank statements and posting transactions to the General Ledger
*Supporting month-end close, reconciliations and ledger reviews
*Liaising with internal teams to resolve billing and credit control queries
*Contributing to continuous improvement across invoicing and cash allocation processes
As an Accounts Assistant, your experience will include:
*Previous experience in a sales ledger or cash allocation role
*Comfortable working across multiple entities or currencies
*Good working knowledge of bank reconciliation processes
*Familiarity with UK GAAP, ideally with some exposure to European accounting practices
*Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to record-keeping
*Confident liaising with stakeholders across different departments
