Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is looking for a Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and financial control activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a collaborative finance team, broaden their technical expertise, and contribute to ongoing process improvements within a dynamic business environment.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
*Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
*Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
*Assist with the year-end and month-end close processes.
*Prepare and review VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
*Support budgeting and forecasting activities across the business.
*Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
*Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting.
*Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:
*ACA or ACCA qualified.
*Advanced Excel skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
