*Pay: £13.45 per hour PAYE
*Working Hours: 9am till 5pm (Office Based)
Sheffield City Council are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join their team, for a two-month temporary assignment with Sheffield Libraries, Archives & Information Service. The ideal candidate will have experience using Sheffield City Council’s Integra finance system to process orders and journals, alongside general administration skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Perform general administrative duties including photocopying, shredding, and handling telephone and email enquiries.
*Process invoices and manage financial documents using the Integra finance system.
*Create simple posters for library events and announcements.
*Manage stationery orders and maintain stock levels for multiple library locations.
*Sort and distribute post at the Central Library and assist in the opening and closing of the facility.
*Provide reception cover, assist in the distribution of books across libraries, and process new books for library shelves.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a library or similar public service environment.
*Proficiency in using the Integra finance system for processing orders and journals.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of handling enquiries via telephone and email.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
