Full job descriptionRelief Conference and Events Manager - Support a busy events-led hotel with weekly pay
Are you an experienced Relief Conference and Events Manager or a very strong Conference and Events Supervisor who can step confidently into a busy events-led hotel? This is a hands-on relief role where your leadership, organisation and calm approach will help keep weddings, conferences and functions running smoothly.
We are looking for a confident events professional to support a hotel with a strong conference and events operation, leading from the floor and ensuring each event is delivered to a high standard.

*Lead, brief and support the conference and events team during service
*Liaise with clients, guests, kitchen, F&B and hotel operations teams
*Ensure event spaces are set up correctly in line with function sheets
*Manage timings, service standards and guest expectations
*Support food and beverage service where required
*Resolve live event issues quickly, calmly and professionally
What we’re looking for:
*Previous experience as a Conference and Events Manager, Events Manager, Banqueting Manager or very experienced Conference and Events Supervisor
*Strong background in hotel events, conferences or banqueting
*Confident leading teams in a busy hospitality environment
*Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail
*Calm, professional and hands-on approach
*Reliable and able to step into a relief role with confidence
Important Information:
*Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
*Candidates must be able to travel to and from the hotel easily
*Previous conference, banqueting or hotel events experience is essential
