We are working with a supportive secondary school based in Hounslow who are seeking a committed Science Technician to support their science department on a full-time basis from September 2026.

The OpportunityAs a Science Technician, you will be responsible for providing practical and technical support to the science team. You will help ensure lessons are well prepared, laboratories are maintained to a high standard, and students have access to safe and engaging practical experiences.
Key Duties and Responsibilities*Prepare practical materials and equipment for science lessons.

*Support teachers during experiments and practical activities.

*Maintain laboratory areas, equipment, and resources.

*Assist with stock management and ordering supplies.

*Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate records.

*Ensure laboratories are organised and ready for daily use.

*Work alongside the science department to support effective teaching.

Requirements*Previous experience in a science, laboratory, or technical role is desirable.

*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

*Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

*Good understanding of health and safety practices.

*Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach.

*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

*Right to work in the UK.
