Description
The Financial Accountant’s responsibilities include:
*Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts and management reports.
*Manage month end and year end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
*Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
*Conduct the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.
*Ensure tax and VAT compliance.
*Improve financial controls and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
*Professional accounting qualifications or working towards obtaining one.
*Experience in accounting or a similar role.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
