Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with legal, compliance, or KYC experience to join a leading international law firm’s finance team, supporting complex financing transactions and market-leading clients. The role combines transactional support, client relationship management, KYC coordination, and legal know-how projects within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Description
*Support lawyers on financing transactions by coordinating KYC requirements.
*Liaise with lenders, clients, and external advisers regarding compliance documentation.
*Manage and maintain client information databases and KYC resources.
*Assist with Companies House searches, registrations, and transaction formalities.
*Draft transaction-related documents, including board resolutions and certificates.
*Track and monitor leveraged finance market activity and trends.
*Report completed transactions for business development and knowledge purposes.
*Assist with the development and maintenance of finance know-how materials.
*Support knowledge management initiatives across the finance team.
*Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
*Coordinate documentation across multiple matters simultaneously.
*Assist with training and knowledge-sharing activities where appropriate.
*Take ownership of key processes and become a subject matter expert.
*Support additional transactional and administrative projects as required.
Profile
*At least six months’ experience in a legal, compliance, or KYC-focused role.
*Experience gained within a law firm, financial institution, or professional services environment.
*Strong organisational and project management skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
*Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Confidence liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
*Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
*Interest in leveraged finance or financial markets.
*Strong team-working and relationship-building skills.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
*Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
*Experience drafting legal or corporate documentation is advantageous.
*LPC qualification desirable but not essential
