Key Responsibilities*Lead, mentor and develop the finance team
*Produce monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting
*Attend senior management meetings, including presenting the numbers
*Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation and stock valuations
*Deliver robust balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
*Manage cash flow reporting and produce rolling 12-week cash flow forecasts
*Ensure financial compliance and statutory compliance, including with VAT, PAYE, CIS, payroll, pensions, and Companies House
*Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial /strategic planning
*Work closely with senior leadership, providing financial insight to support commercial decision making
*Lead ERP implementation project
*Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls
About You*Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager leading a finance function
*Experience producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
*A recognised finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or significant Qualified by Experience (QBE) expertise
*Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
*A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise effectively
