Full job descriptionSecondary Tutor - Leominster, HerefordshireQuantum Scholars is looking for a supportive and reliable Secondary Tutor to work with young people in Leominster, Herefordshire. This is an in-person role and is not online work. The successful tutor will provide tailored academic support to secondary-aged pupils, helping them build confidence, improve engagement and make progress in their learning.
The role may involve*Delivering one-to-one or small-group tuition to secondary-aged pupils

*Working with young people with SEND
*Planning and adapting sessions to meet individual learning needs

*Supporting pupils with core subjects, including English, maths or science

*Helping learners rebuild confidence and develop positive study habits

*Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback

*Working closely with families, schools and other professionals where appropriate

*Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures

Essential requirements*Experience teaching, tutoring or supporting secondary-aged pupils

*Strong communication and relationship-building skills

*The ability to plan engaging, personalised learning sessions

*A patient, flexible and supportive approach

*A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

*Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable professional references

*You must have the right to work in the UK.
