Our client, a leading Thames Valley law firm, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director Commercial Litigation Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team in Reading.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Senior Associate or Legal Director looking to progress their career, with the role offering a genuine Partner Designate pathway and the opportunity to develop towards Partnership within a successful and growing practice.
You will join a well-established Commercial Litigation team with an excellent reputation for handling complex, high-value disputes. The role involves advising a broad client base including businesses, directors, shareholders, investors and senior executives on strategically important litigation, with a strong focus on achieving commercially effective outcomes.
The Role
You will manage a varied and high-quality caseload including:
*Advising on a broad range of commercial disputes, including contractual, corporate, shareholder and partnership matters
*Handling complex business-related litigation, including disputes involving directors, shareholders and senior stakeholders
*Managing disputes through a variety of routes including negotiation, mediation, alternative dispute resolution and court proceedings
*Advising on contentious insolvency matters, restrictive covenant issues and other commercial conflicts
*Working on high-value and strategically important disputes, including High Court litigation
*Providing commercially focused advice to businesses, directors, shareholders and other stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes
About You
You will be:
*A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 8+ years’ PQE gained within Commercial Litigation or Dispute Resolution
*Experienced handling complex commercial disputes from initial advice through to settlement, mediation or trial
*Confident advising corporates, directors, shareholders and business owners on strategic disputes
*Commercially minded with strong client management and business development skills
*An ambitious Senior Associate or Legal Director seeking a clear route to Partnership
